Damn it! I can't wait for At the Bottom of the Gravity Well (Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn Vol 4). On Monday (10/17/11), I watched the English trailer of At the Bottom of the Gravity Well (Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn Vol 4), its was great (personally I like the trailer of Vol 3 better). The reason for me not wanting to wait is because Karen Strassman is a new voice actor for Vol 4. Who is she well she is the voice of Loni Garvey in Vol 4 but she is also the voice of Kallen Stadtfeld/Kouzuki from Code Geass. Personally I love her work on Code Geass and she sounds great in this trailer for At the Bottom of the Gravity Well (Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn Vol 4). Well here's the trailer:

F.Y.I. Karen Strassman was on this season of Weeds (Weeds is a great Adult show and its on Showtime, so kids don't watch this show) as Jolene and I didn't even know. I was shocked when I read her roles on live action T.V. that she was on Weeds. For moments when she was on you can hear some traces of Kallen.

Blogger App for the Android

This blogger app I have is from google, the good thing is that I can easily blog from my phone. Now the bad thing what this app is that I can't post videos, can't resize the image I post, and most importantly I can't edit my old posts, I can only edit posts that I made from this app, that sucks. There are other blogger apps on the android market but they are not from google, and on those I could do all the things that this app can't. Now what I was thinking is that I could use my web browser on my phone to blog, but what's the point on having a blogger app?

Google, I know you have smart people working for you, please add more features to this app, its great but its missing key items, which were the things I said above.

Most (if not all) of you have heard the news about what happen to Japan, a 8.9 earthquake (5th strongest since 1900), more than 30 aftershocks, and tsunamis hit Japan at 2:43pm local time. This is a sad moment for human kind, it doesn't matter your race we are all human and you must give your support to the Japanese. I'm not a man of faith but I do pray for them and give them my support. This hits me more because I live in Southern California (near Los Angeles) and we have the same danger of a huge earthquake hitting us. Make sure if you do donate money make sure its the Red Cross because there are people who take advantage of these kinds of situations.

Well I got some news, I moved to a better apartment last week, I got a new phone (HTC Evo Shift), and got new display cases for my gundams. It seems like I'm not going to get Gundam Unicorn 3 when it comes out, I'll get it maybe in June or July, the same goes for Evangelion 2.22 on blu-ray, I might get Evangelion 1.11 on blu-ray since its 12 U.S. dollars on amazon.

The new game I did get is Marvel VS. Capcom 3 for the Xbox 360, and I got the Da Vinci Disappearance ($9.99 for PSN & 800 points for the 360) for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. Off topic, I love playing ACB online but there aren't enough people playing online. I saw The Ghost of Laplace (Gundam Unicorn 3) and it is freakin awesome, its so action pack and the ending song is great, I'll be uploading the song to my blog and I'll do a full review of Gundam Unicorn 3.

Well, last week on Attack of the Show (on G4TV), the show now has a new co-host, Candace Bailey. Now this was a problem for me at the beginning because I wanted Alison Haislip as the new co-host since Olivia Munn left the show in the summer time. Like I said I wanted Alison as the new co-host because she is a true geek, she co-hosted the show when Olivia was doing her thing, and she has great chemistry with Kevin Pereira. But watching the show with Candace as the new co-host she is not bad but I would have still liked to see Alison as the co-host.

The theme song to this OVA is very catchy, I can't wait for it to come out so I can hear the full song. Now as for the OVA itself, well I might not buy it when it comes out because I might be moving, so if it comes out a month or two after I move then I'll pre-order it. The last OVA was action pact, I only hope this one is too.

DVD Authoring

Since I got my Mac Mini, I've been authoring DVDs, mostly anime. You ask, why not just buy the DVDs instead of making your own DVDs? My answer, most animes I like don't come out on DVD or Blu-ray here in the U.S. and if they do 70% of the dubs suck, i.e. Gundam 00. I bought Mobile Suit Gundam 00 S1 Part 3 on DVD earlier this year and I barely open it 2 months ago and I got to tell you, it was the worst anime DVD I have ever bought. I have a bootleg copy of Evangelion and those DVDs look a million times better than Mobile Suit Gundam 00 S1 Part 3, I was shocked on how the quality of Gundam 00 S1 Pt 3 was so bad, I compare it to the one I made and the one I made was 10 times better. Now, I'm not selling and I will never sell the anime DVDs I make its just for me and me only, only my home videos because I have to make copies for my family.

Anyways, I'll tell you what software and hardware I use to make my DVDs. Hardware: DVD/VCR Recorder that can record on DVD-/+RW (for VHS to DVD), this takes forever since you have to play the whole home movie.
Software: I use Handbrake to rip the home movie in H.264 (that's HD format, the movie is not coming out on HD but it's higher quality and low file size), then I use ConvertXToDVD to convert it to a DVD format with 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround Sound (use Lanczos, short project, 2nd pass, and burn it as a folder in your hard drive; I found these settings to be the best for me), Photoshop CS4/5 to make the DVD menus (background image, buttons, etc...), DVD Lab Pro to author my DVDs (you put up to 8 audio tracks and I believe 16 subtitle tracks, I like how they use psd, Photoshop files, for the menus, it gets simple once you use it a couple of times). Google for the tutorials on DVD Lab Pro because you will need it at first but with time you won't need to use them.

Well, that's how I make my own DVDs but I might start using Adobe Encore CS5 and DVD Studio Pro more. If you want to know more in detail about how I do my DVDs comment below or email me.

New Programs

I must be repeating myself again, again, and again, anyways I'll be posting more since school is almost over. Anyways, I got some new programs that have to do with video encoding/conversion, editing, and DVD authoring.

I got 3 different types of video converters: Ultra MPEG-4 Converter (I use this to convert my videos for my iPod), ImTOO Video Converter Ultimate (to convert my audio to 5.1 Dolby Digital for my DVDs), and ConvertXToDVD (to convert my home and anime videos to high quality DVD videos).

2 types of video editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 (I barely got it yesterday, but I like the layout and the different settings looks like Final Cut) and Apple's Final Cut Pro 7 (its so easy to edit video and has a ton of features that 98% of other programs don't have may it be in Windows or Apple).

3 different types DVD authoring software: Adobe Encore CS5 (I also barely got this yesterday, I want to see how Photoshop is used in this and I want to see how the subtitles work in this program, plus you can even build a Blu-Ray), DVD Lab Pro (This is the main program I use to make DVDs and its great but my only problem is that when I make a subtitle the subtitle default it won't let me choose another subtitle track), and Apple's DVD Studio Pro 4 (an amazing program that is "the best DVD authoring software," I have not used the program that much to make DVDs since my Mac Mini isn't as powerful as my PC, but the times I used it, it was really great, Apple makes their software real easy).

Now, all of these programs, except the first 3, are really really really expensive, but they are worth it if you author DVDs. In other posts, I tell you which programs are great.

P.S. I for got to mention Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 and Adobe Encore CS5 are only 64-bit programs, no 32-bit versions for these programs

The Second Coming of Char (Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn Vol 2) Review

So, I received the Blu-Ray last Saturday (11/6/10), I thought I would get it this Saturday. Anyways, I was happy to get it early ans a little shocked that I got 4 postcards with the Blu-Ray. I believe these are the postcards that came out with the first OVA in Japan, and I also believe only the people who pre-order it on the Bandai website got this, I'm not sure on the last thing I said. On the last post I wrote that it came with an extra 29 minutes, but its just trailers and highlights from the 1st OVA, on the Blu-Ray Live it has a minute & half trailer for the 3rd OVA and an interview with the animator, and there's more to come next week on Blu-Ray Live. I was disappointed that the extra minutes weren't for the OVA. It would be worth the price if more things come out on Blu-Ray Live. Thank you PS3, I'm loving that Bandai released "The Second Coming of Char" on the PSN (PlayStation Network) almost 2 weeks early (10/30/10). I first saw the 14 minute preview on YouTube (the video is now set on private) weeks ago and the action scene was off the hook, it picked up right after The Day of the Unicorn (Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn Vol 1), now I'm not going to give any spoilers. I saw the whole OVA on the PSN for $5 (for HD, $3 for SD). I got to tell you the English dubbing was great, it was the first time I liked a Gundam dubbing in English since Gundam Seed Destiny, they (Bandai) used the same voice actors from the first OVA plus some new actors for new characters. Now, since Bandai, here in the U.S., has a new online store they are selling it on Blu-Ray for $20 off (so $39.98 plus taxes & shipping) for pre-orders, unlike the first Blu-Ray, there are other online stores that are taking pre-orders. I already pre-order it because the Blu-Ray has an extra 29 minutes of bonus material, maybe it has extra scenes that didn't appear on the one that came out on the PSN, or maybe something else, who knows. I like the fact that they added that extra 29 minutes because on the first Blu-Ray there was nothing on extras, just the movie. People tell me 40 bucks is a lot for a Blu-Ray, and it is but compare to the same Blu-Ray sold in Japan, this is cheap. Why you ask, because Blu-Rays in Japan are around 60-70 dollars.

So, The Second Coming of Char is the second of six OVAs for Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn. There is more action in this one, the animation is beautiful, the score (music) is great, and the voice acting is amazing in Japanese and great in English. So I say that this Blu-Ray is worth it compare to the first one if you have the money for it, or you could just rent it on the PSN. I'm liking how Bandai is thinking in terms of selling this series, selling the Blu-Rays world-wide on the "same day", giving us long previews, and an on-demand of the OVAs on the PSN. This is due to piracy and the lack of anime in the U.S. and other countries.

Also, FUNimation is doing the same thing here in the U.S. with getting new licensed anime and putting them on their site with subtitles first (to get the product out fast so viewers in the U.S. get to see them) and then dubbing them in English for DVD/Blu-Ray release, I'll talk about this in another post because its a long talk.

Rating time for the PSN Version:
Story: 8/5 (The story on this one was great & the action scenes really add to the story)
Animation: 30/5 (1080p & its flawless)
Music: 10/5 (The music is really Amazing)
Blu-Ray Cover: 5/5 (I know this is just for the PSN Ver. but the cover is sweet)
Overall: 9/5 (I know the math is not right but this OVA surpassed what I expected)

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2: Part 4 is the final DVD Set for Code Geass, its just a single DVD case with 2 DVDs, just like the other 3 parts. It comes with 2 DVDs containing Turns (Episodes) 20-25 & Audio Commentary (in Japanese with English Subs) on Turns 21 & 25. Turn 25 has 2 commentaries one from the actors & the other one from the staff. Its in both English & Japanese with subtitles. Also it contains a Key Animation Gallery (like the other 3). I'm so disappoint from Bandai, they have assed R2, they didn't dub or at least subbed the Picture Dramas, and there wasn't even a true "Box Set" like in the 1st season. I had to buy the Box Set from Season 1 again to hold the DVDs, by luck the Best Buy I went to had the Box Set for 10 BUCKS!!! I was pissed that I spend like $60 for the one I bought. Inception

Man, what a movie. Its the best movie I've seen in about 2 years. Leonardo DiCaprio is making great movies since Catch Me If You Can (2002). I didn't know too much about the background of the story before I saw the movie, but to tell you the truth you don't need to know since in the movie it explains everything you need to know. I love the casting of this movie but I was a little iffy on the casting of Ellen Page, since I'm not a big fan of her, but she did a great job on her character. After I left the theater, I couldn't stop thinking about the ending, the only thing I can tell you is that you have to pay attention to the whole movie, so for all you people who sleep through movies stay awake or else you miss a lot of things important that will help try to understand the ending.

The story itself is really interesting: "Dominic 'Dom' Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) washes up on a beach and is brought by armed guards into the chamber of an elderly man. The scene then cuts to a dream in the mind of Saito (Ken Watanabe) where Cobb, Arthur (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and dream world architect Nash (Lukas Haas) are on an 'extraction' mission, in which an individual's mind is infiltrated through dreams and information is stolen. Extractors and their victims sleep in close proximity to one another, connected by a device that administers a sedative and share a dream world built on their mental projections. In the dreamworld, pain is psychologically experienced as real but death results in awakening. Cobb carries a spinning top to use as a 'totem', a unique object which either spins unceasingly or topples, allowing him to always determine whether he is dreaming or awake, respectively. Unbeknown to Cobb or Arthur, Saito is in fact auditioning the team to work for him. Saito asks Cobb to perform the act of 'inception'; using dreams to secretly implant an idea."

GO AND WATCH THIS MOVIE; its a can't miss, it is the most original story in the past 5-10 years, the visual affects are like the 1st Matrix, they will blow your mind, it has twist-and-turns, and the ending will leave you thinking. I can't wait for the Blu-ray release of this film.

P.S. I hope this movie wins for best picture and actor.

Assassin's Creed

Today, I'm going to review the game: Assassin's Creed. Assassin's Creed is on for the PS3, Xbox 360 & the PC; it retails for $19.99 in the U.S.. I'll be reviewing the PS3 version. It's a 1 player game, takes up 2 GBs on your HD, and the video output supports 720p & 1080i. Also it's on the Greatest Hits list. It's rated M for Mature (17+), so you have to be at least 17 yrs old to buy/play the game. It was developed & published by Ubisoft.

Plot: "In September 2012, bartender Desmond Miles is kidnapped by Abstergo, a pharmaceutical company. He is to be used as their 17th test subject in the Animus, a device that can read the memories of Desmond's ancestors through the genetic memory left behind in their descendants' DNA. Desmond can then simulate the experiences of his ancestors in a virtual reality environment. Abstergo intends to put Desmond in the device to simulate the memories of one particular ancestor, Altaïr ibn La-Ahad, the best trained, apart from Al Mualim, in a clan of Assassins. Abstergo is specifically interested in Altaïr's experiences during the year 1191 AD, as part of the Third Crusade in the Holy Land(Damascus, Acre and Jerusalem). Desmond has trouble adjusting to the device at first when Abstergo tries to directly go to the memory they want, so they get as close to it as possible and Desmond relives Altaïr's exploits over the next several weeks. The game then primarily takes Altaïr's point of view, with occasional swaps to Desmond when he exits the Animus device."

Now on to the review: The plot is amazing but weird at the same time, I thought the whole game I was going to be Altaïr (the assassin) but that's not the case, I (or you) jump back-and-forth from the past to the present and vice-versa using the Animus. I love the idea that you can see what your ancestors did using your DNA, it makes sense, it's just like what the animals (expect us humans) do. Each time you complete a mission (and a couple of missions later-on in the game)as Altaïr you return to the "present" as Desmond. In the game you have to assassinate 9 people, each target is based on a real historical figure from around 1191, to help the Assassins overcome the Templars evil plot. I would mention that both the Assassins & Templars want the same thing peace but they both go at it in different ways, hmm... just like people now-n-days, no wait like all human history. Anyways, the people who have Desmond, Abstergo, are using him to find out the locations of the "Pieces of Eden". I won't spoil the ending but I didn't expect the ending (what happen) before I played the game but when I was playing the game, I started to expect it. Now game-play is a little hard when you first play it but it gets easier as you play, you can do the missions that were given to you in any order, the itself is not that hard, and no you can't choose between easy, normal or hard, there's only one level of difficulty.

Overall: I'll give this game a 9.5/10, the only reason why I didn't give it a 10 is because the fact there a few moments in the game that stops you from being Altaïr, which it has become my favorite video game character & name. Its a must buy if you have a PS3 or a Xbox 360, its only 20 bucks (in the U.S.).

Darker Than Black

How did I miss out on this anime? Its really good, I wished I would have seen this earlier. Basics: Darker Than Black is Season 1, and in S1 there's 25 episodes including an OVA but it count as ep. 26, there's 2 seasons to this anime and 4 OVAs (Darker than Black: Gemini of the Meteor, Season 2, and Darker Than Black: Gaiden, the 4 OVAs) in-between S1 & S2, (SPOILER ALERT) the story changes dramatically from S1 & S2, which the OVAs "help" you fill in those holes from S1 to S2, now 3 of the 4 OVAs have come out in Japan, they come on the even number DVDs of S2, the last one comes out next month (7/21/10).

Here is the plot of Darker Than Black S1:
"Ten years ago, an inscrutable and abnormal territory known as Hell's Gate appeared in Tokyo, altering the sky and wreaking havoc on the landscape. The real stars disappeared, replaced by false stars. During this time, people possessing various special abilities emerged, each capable of different supernatural feats - these are known as Contractors. Each fake star has a corresponding Contractor, which reacts to their activities. As such, Contractors are usually identified by their star's Messier catalogue number. Kept secret from the masses, these individuals are known to murder in cold blood, smothering unnecessary emotions with logic and rationale. Their incredible abilities, however, are gained at the cost of their humanity - Contractors are thus named because of an involuntary compulsion to "pay the price" each time their power is used, which can range from eating particular foods and completing meaningless tasks, to self-harm and having their bodies change in peculiar ways. Now, I like this anime because it had action from beginning to end, comedy all the time, some drama throughout, the story is great (it has a dark and kind of sad story at the end), the animation is good, the score (music) is really great, and I like the fact that every two episodes is a story on to it's own expect the last 3 episodes & the OVA (doesn't add to the story at all but its a funny episode) but it all adds up in the end. The character that I liked the most was not Hei but Yin; I don't know why because her character (SPOILER ALERT) doesn't develop up until the end and (SPOILER ALERT) that's that it's not fully developed until Darker Than Black: Gaiden & at the end of Gemini of the Meteor but I do anyway. Darker Than Black S1 is dubbed in English by Funimation (casting is great), actually I saw this anime in English and I like it, so stop hating people, & of course the Japanese dub is awesome as always.

100th POST!!!

Sorry for the 3 month hiatus, I was being lazy on writing but not updating the background, music, and everything else (the look of it). For the 100th post of my blog, I wanted to make it special but I couldn't finish my drawings & I haven't started a new yet. But it doesn't mean I won't finish them or start on new ones, it just goes to the fact I been LAZY!!! Now some things have changed during the hiatus, the whole look of the blog; I personally made the background, the header & some how made it transparent enough to see the background but not too transparent to see the words (that was a hard thing to balance).

I also updated the music, added music from the Soundtracks of Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny OST I-IV, Darker than Black: Gemini of the Meteor OST, Death Note OST I-II, Evangelion: 1.0 You Are [Not] Alone OST, Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn OST I, Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz OST, also added more from Code Geass (& R2) OST & Mobile Suit Gundam 00 OST, and added theme songs from all these anime.

In other good news, I bought a Mini Mac (to do home videos), build my own PC (which is old new since I build it at the end of last year, but never told you guys about it), also upgraded my OS (Operating System) to Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit but still use Windows Vista (upgraded Basic to Ultimate 32-Bit, just use it for video encoding). Now I have the complete set of Code Geass on DVD (I wish it was on Blu-ray), up-to-date with the seasons of Entourage (Season 6 is in Blu-ray & its was cheap only 30 bucks). Once I find a job, I'll buy Darker Than Black Season 1, Death Note, The Big Bang Theory S2, and all the seasons of House (I just have S4). I bought for the PS3: UFC Undisputed 2010, Assassin's Creed & Assassin's Creed II (I know I'm a little late on buying it, especially the first one, but I wanted to get them since Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is coming out later this year); and for the Xbox 360 I got Splinter Cell: Conviction. Oh, I got some movies on Blu-ray as well.

P.S. I called it on my NBA Finals' pick, I got Lakers in 7 against Boston, also I got Boston beating the Magic but in 7, didn't get it right on the Lakers beating the Spurs and the seeding in the West & East and just got wrong on two teams make it to the Playoffs. Here's the proof: NBA Today. What the Hell, why Eagles why? Why did you trade Donovan McNabb? Anyways, the World Cup has started and I'm glad that France is out, the US made it to the second round, and that the South American teams are dominating, here is a stat for my European readers, none of the European teams has ever won a World Cup outside of Europe in the history of the FIFA World Cup, but the South American teams have won everywhere.

Lakers' Fan Jam

The first ever Lakers' Fan Jam sucked (I went on Saturday 3/20). The tickets were $15 and the lines were HUGE. It was so poorly organized especially for the autograph section. None of the Lakers' players got there until 3 pm (the Fan Jam started at 10 am) and the main Laker, Kobe, didn't give any autographs. People including myself waited in line for a minimum of 4 HOURS. Luckily, I got Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Andrew Bynum & D.J. Mbenga autographs. Not only I but the rest of the people in the Fan Jam were mad because they (the Fan Jam Organization) had people giving autographs that the fans didn't even know who they were, like the Spanish Broadcasters, and Kobe didn't give any autographs. I don't know if Kobe ever went since I left once I got Bynum & Mbenga's autographs (since they were the first players to give autographs).

God Of War III, Gundam & Pokémon

This past weekend was really big for me and maybe to most people in the United States. First, last Tuesday I bought the God Of War Collection. On Saturday I received Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn Vol. 1 Blu-Ray. On Sunday, I also got Pokémon Soul Silver. And then, on Tuesday I got God Of War III.

Reviews:
Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn Vol. 1 (click to see my first review on it): the Blu-Ray comes in Japanese & English Dub, with 6 different Subtitle Languages. Now, like I said on my first review the animation & the Japanese voice acting are amazing, but the English dub kind-of let me down (maybe watching it more I might like it). It didn't really have any extras but it did have BD Live, it showed a 10 second preview of Vol. 2 (but its just a picture), it had all the trailers, and something else (sorry I forgot what it was), but you have to download them to see with the Blu-Ray (your Blu-Ray player has to have internet connection, I used my PS3). Buy it if you have money to spare.

Rating time:
Story: 5/5
Animation: 7/5 (1080p, that's all I can say)
Music: 10/5 (The music is really Amazing)
Blu-Ray Cover: 5/5
Extras: 2/5 (Only because it has 6 Subtitle Languages)

Pokémon Soul Silver (click to see my first review on it): I love this remake, I really do. I know I'm 10 years too old to play this, but who cares. It's the second best Pokémon game (Pokémon FireRed is the best), I'm only saying this because I got into Pokémon with the original 151, that's the only reason. Its a must buy for any Pokémon fan, young or old.

Rating Time:
10/10 (It's the same story as the first but it has a ton of extras like online trading & battling)

God Of War Collection: it's for the PS3, it has both God Of War & God Of War II in one Blu-Ray disc. Now some of the video scenes look like PS2 graphics but the game play graphics looks like it had an upgrade. I'm half-way through the God Of War. Its a must buy, its two games in one for 30 bucks (plus taxes).

Rating Time:
8/10 (The only reason why I'm giving it an 8 its because I haven't finished both games)

God Of War III: like I said I bought it but I haven't played it yet, but the graphics are off the hook, I played the demo a week ago and that's what sold me to buy this game. I can't wait to play this.

Recently, I bought some settei's from eBay of Code Geass R2 (episode 1), the seller didn't want to sell the Kallen set, but a week ago he sold me the Kallen settei set too. As a bonus, he also gave my some copies of Code Geass Cels (click on the link to know what are cels). Anyways these settei packs are really helping me with drawing. PlayStation 3 PSN Error? (Edited)

What the hell Sony? Most of the (fat) PlayStation 3's (expect for the new PS3 Slims) have a glitch that the PS3's "believe" that this year is is a leap year. When I turned on my PS3 today, I saw there was a error (8001050F) that it won't connect to the PS Network and on top of that it had the date & time of 12/31/99 15:35. Come on Sony, we are spending $600 (at the time, now $300) how come you could fixed a small but huge problem from the beginning or yet in the last update? I know people in Sony are not stupid and I bet they knew about this problem. Not only can we sign in to the PSN but we can't launch some games or even play online.

So Sony says don't not start your PS3 until they fix this problem within the next 24 hours.

So this problem was fixed today.

David Benke, Math Teacher Hero

This blog is mostly about anime and some other things but this post won't be about that, it will be about a math teacher who saved the lives of students in a middle school shooting. David Benke, the math teacher, tackled the gunman who was starting to shoot on middle schoolers. This happen near Columbine High, people who went to school during the '90s know about that school. David Benke risked his life to save the lives of his students, this hero needs to get more praise for what he did.

The Day of the Unicorn (Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn Vol 1)

Oh man, thanks to my Japanese connections I saw The Day of the Unicorn (Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn Vol 1) DVD, I'm not a fan of the UC time line (I just like some of their MS) but I have to admit that this OVA is really, really great. I saw it in Japanese with subtitles, the voice acting is great like in every anime in Japan, I hope the English dubbing does justice for such a great piece of work, unlike Gundam 00 S2. The animation of this OVA was almost on pair with Gundam 00 & Code Geass, the music is great, I can't wait to see it on Blu-Ray. Its so great that this morning I just pre-ordered the Blu-Ray on Amazon.com, I'm willing to pay 35 bucks for this, and I'm the type of person that wants value for the things I buy (not saying that I'm cheap but I want a bang for my buck).

On another note, I don't know if Amazon is selling it with the cardboard slipcase but who cares? I seen the cardboard slipcase and its not that good (to me). I've also seen people asking questions about this on the discussion page, and saying they won't buy it on Amazon if it doesn't have the cardboard slipcase and they will pay an extra $20 (base price $52 + depending on shipping costs) or more for it. Come on people, why spend $20 more for a piece of paper and you'll have to wait more time for the overseas shipping.

P.S. once I get the Blu-Ray will review but it will have to be in 3 weeks (it comes out on March 12, 2010).

Gundam UC (Unicorn) OVA

On March 12 of this year, Bandai will be releasing Gundam UC (Unicorn) OVA Vol. 1 on Blu-Ray for $40. Here is the link to Amazon, which it will be sold exclusively on there: Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn Vol. 1 (Amazon Exclusive) [Blu-ray]. Here is a picture:

This will be one of the few Blu-Rays that Bandai will release to North America (U.S.) that I know of. And I don't get why Bandai doesn't release more of its anime in Blu-Ray to North America. This is why FUNimation is better in North America, they release more anime & anime on Blu-Ray. Just checking on Amazon, FUNimation is selling/releasing 38 Blu-Rays (of Movies/OVAs & some Complete Series) compare to 15 Bandai is selling/releasing (most of them are Movies/OVAs). I really wanted both Code Geass (R2) & Gundam 00 (S2) on Blu-Ray like the amazing people of Japan.

It is confirmed that the Gundam 00 Movie will be released some time in September of this year (2010). Here are some pictures that says this:

Now this doesn't mean that in a year or two that this movie would come out in English, Bandai is a weird company in terms of releasing animes to North America (mostly U.S.A.). Sometimes they don't want to finish releasing the anime i.e. Gundam Seed Destiny (they stop show the last 20 episodes of this series). I know I got off track but good news to 00 fans that this movie will be released this year.

Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver

I am glad that Nintendo did remakes to Pokémon Gold & Silver. I have been playing SoulSilver on my computer with an English patch, and I really like it. The best Pokémon games (to me) are Red, Blue, Gold & Silver. Nintendo & Game Freak did an amazing job on updating these games. I wish I had a Nintendo DS or DSi to get this game when it comes out here (U.S.). In this game your Pokémon follows you like in Pokémon Yellow, but any Pokémon can follow you, any. I really love Pokémon Red & Blue but Gold & Silver are right there for me, for the reason being that you can face all 16 Gym Leaders (8 from Johto & 8 from Kanto) twice and also face the Elite Four twice with their Pokémon on higher levels. I'll give this game a 10/10, the Best Pokémon Games Ever, with Pokémon FireRed & LeafGreen right behind them.

If you want to know, I'm close to facing the 8th Gym Leader, and yeah I know that I might be too old to play a game like this but this game (meaning Pokémon Silver, Blue & Red) was a big part of my life while growing up. I still have the original games, well I think I don't have Pokémon Red, I'm not sure.

New Orleans Saints, Super Bowl XLIV Champions

Congratulations to the New Orleans Saints for beating the Colts in Super Bowl XLIV. I wanted the Colts to win but I didn't mind if the Saints won. To me, it was a quick game, it didn't seem like a Super Bowl. In the end, the Saints wanted to win more. I'm glad that Drew Brees got Super Bowl MVP, he did an amazing job willing his team to a win.

Peyton Manning did what he always does in the playoffs, lose. Manning's record for the Post Season is 9-9, that's bad. Lets say that Manning won, his record would be 10-8, how is that the greatest ever? Tom Brady (14-4; 3 Super Bowl Wins; went to 4 SB), Joe Montana (16-7; 4 Super Bowl Wins; went to 4 SB), Terry Bradshaw (14-5; 4 Super Bowl Wins; went to 4 SB), how is Peyton Manning better than these Quarterbacks in the Post Season? Don't get me wrong, Peyton Manning is the Greatest Regular Season Quarterback Ever, but not in the Post Season (where it matters).

Today is Super Sunday, even though my Eagles or Chargers are not in it I'm still going to watch it. I picking the Colts to win by a touchdown, 35-28. The Saints are good but not as good as the Colts, their (Saints) defense is bad even though they get turnovers, but come on are they going to Manning to turnover the ball? NO! I hope its a fun game like last year & the year before, and I also hope its a high scoring game. So, Colts 35-28.

I am a Philadelphia Eagles fan but I would hate them if they trade away their best Quarterback in franchise history, Donovan McNabb. I never get why the people of Philadelphia hate him. Since 2000 (when McNabb became the full-time starter) to 2009 the Eagles went to the playoffs 8 times (missing the playoffs only 2 years) and from those 8 times they went to 5 NFC Championship Games & 1 Superbowl. Sure they lost 4 of 5 NFC Championship Games and the only Superbowl they went to but at least they were in those games. What fans doesn't want to see their team be in the playoffs or in a championship game, sure those same fans want to see them win in those games but you have to be in it to win it. McNabb is still a Top 5 Quarterback in the NFL.
So please don't let Donovan McNabb go, Philadelphia. All what the Eagles need are: a good Running-Back (& to run the ball more), a Wide Receiver (that goes through the middle), some Line-Backers & a Safety.

Yesterday, I got Photoshop CS4 and today I spent the own day play with Photoshop. Its a little hard to edit every detail of a picture but with practice it'll become easier. The reasons why I got Photoshop is: 1. just to have it and 2. the signature (of Wing Zero Custom) I made for forums a long time ago sucked. And now I made my new signature (of Lelouch) and I'm happy with it but it makes me want to do more!

And I found 3 very helpful sites: 1.Tutorial for Signatures, you don't have to do the same pictures/images but its a good outline 2.Photoshop Brushes, I found out that brushes really do help, really 3.Cool Fonts for Windows/Photoshop, the fonts Windows has are ok but if you want better go to that site.

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2: Part 3 is going to come out in a week (1/19/10 to be exact). And I'm going to buy it, duh... This "Box-Set" will contain Turns: 14-19 and Vol. 6 of the Manga if you get the Limited Edition. Also Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2: Part 4 will come out on March 2nd of this year. Its the last part of this amazing series, containing Turns: 20-25. I really hope Bandai gives us a true Box-Set with the release of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2: Part 4. If there's any chance of Picture Dramas from R2 it will be when Part: 4 comes out but it will never happen.

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion Vol. 6 is basically the first half the Code Geass R2. Its starts from the beginning of R2 to the part where Xingke is an ally to Zero. So far, this is my favorite volume. Lelouch doesn't forget everything like the anime, the only thing he doesn't remember that he is Zero, has the power of Geass, and who is C.C. Rolo is "his brother", but they (Lelouch & Rolo) don't go to play chess with the Black King, they go to buy things for Milly, and Lelouch sees Kallen working at a cafe, and no bunny outfit, that sucks. Anyways, in this volume a lot is changed from the anime, just the key events are the same but are shown differently like how Nunnally never appeared, when Zero appeared to the world, how Lelouch got control of the school and how Xingke became an ally for Zero. This is a must buy manga, its only 12 bucks with taxes if you are in the U.S.

The Simpsons' 20th Anniversary Special

Who saw this last night (1/10/10)? It was a great tribute to the best show ever. They had everyone who was involved in the making. It was must-see TV, if I missed this I would have died. I'm a huge fan of The Simpsons. Even though I like Code Geass, Dragonball Z & Gundam, I love The Simpsons. If I had to see only one show for the rest of my life, it would be The Simpsons. The saddest day of my life will be when The Simpsons will be off the air, which I hope it will never come.

After the 20th Anniversary Special, they (FOX) announced that the 20th Season of The Simpsons will be on sale tomorrow (Tuesday 1/12/10), its weird because the 12th Season was the latest season to be on sale. So, FOX is going to skip 7 seasons? Its also coming out on Blu-ray, which I'll be buying.

450 episodes, 1 20th Anniversary Special, 1 movie, several games equals the BEST SHOW EVER!!! Also its the longest running show ever!

Code Geass & Death Note

Now I know why people compare Code Geass and Death Note, they are almost the same in terms of their main idea (or theme). If one had the power to change the world what would one do, which path would one go, would one do anything to achieve one's goal, and do the lifes of others matter? To me, this is the main theme of Death Note & Code Geass, this is why they are some what similar, but at the same time they're not. Lelouch (Code Geass' main protagonist & some what main antagonist) & Light (Death Note's main protagonist/antagonist) have the same goal, making the world a better place but they want to do it for very different reasons. Lelouch wants to make a better place for his sister, Nunnally, and later on for his friends & the people of the world. He wanted the world & it's people to change for the good, knowing that people want to change. Mean while, Light wants to change the world because he wants to be God, judge people whether they are good or evil, and imposes his will to the world. Also he does this because he's bored, insane, believes is his right to kill evil doers & has a huge ego (so does Lelouch). Light's way of thinking is more of a child and a spoiled brat, by getting rid of evil people would make the world better but it isn't the right of a single human to do what he did. Plus, his (Light) life was easy going, he didn't go through any adversity growing up, so he never felt the pain of losing something. While, Lelouch has gone through adversity his whole life with the death of his mother, what happen to his sister, losing his future as prince, and being abandoned by his father. So he knows the lost of love-ones, that's why he has remorse when he uses his geass to kill people (like what he did to Euphemia). While, Light didn't care about the people he wrote in the death note, even when something happen to his family he didn't show any remorse. The things Lelouch and Light have in common are their names start with the letter L, they're really smart, they have someone to ruin their plans (Suzaku for Lelouch & L/Near for Light), and they are both located in Japan. That's it, they have nothing else in common (that I can think of). Oh yeah, they both share the same fate, but it happens for different reasons Lelouch did it for others & Light's plans backfire.

In the end, Code Geass & Death Note have one thing in common the theme, if one had the power to change the world what would one do? Also, they both show us that what is wrong to us might be right to others and vise-versa. But, this is my opinion, I could be wrong.

Death Note

Man, this anime was great. The struggles between Light & L, and then Light with Near were amazing. And the fact that how Light uses people to achieve his goals is very interesting. Each episodes had their twists & turns. This is the 3rd best anime I had ever seen. Death Note had every element for a perfect story but it was missing the comedic element. Well, this anime didn't need a comedy side to it since its has a hardcore story. At first I didn't want to see Death Note but a friend told me it is worth watching, and he was right. It only has 37 episodes, and that's a good number, since most anime are 25 episodes per season & are 2 seasons long (total of 50 episodes). The draw back of having a 50 episode anime is the plot loses it's meaning. This doesn't happen to Death Note (the plot isn't dragged for too long) and 60% of anime shows. With all great anime, the ending will leave you in shock. Here's the what you need to know about Death Note:

"Light Yagami is an extremely intelligent young man who resents what appears to be a relentless increase of crime and corruption in the world around him. His life undergoes a drastic change when he discovers a mysterious notebook, known as the "Death Note", lying on the ground. The Death Note's instructions claim that if a human's name is written within it, that person shall die. Light is initially skeptical of the notebook's authenticity, but after experimenting with it, he realizes that the Death Note is real. After meeting with the previous owner of the Death Note, a shinigami named Ryuk, Light seeks to become "the God of the New World" by passing his keen judgment on those he deems to be evil or who get in his way.

Soon, the number of inexplicable deaths of reported criminals catches the attention of the International Police Organization and a mysterious detective known only as "L". Death Note, to me, is second to only Code Geass. It's almost a perfect anime The plot is amazing, the animation is good (I have seen better), the music fit perfectly to theme, and the openings & endings are way different from what I used to but is a good different. Also the twists & turns workout great for the plot and the clashes between Light & L is the icing to a great anime.

P.S. I'm going to compare Death Note to Code Geass later today. I'm going to give my 2 cents on the two anime, how they are like and how they are not.

Just like the title says, the 1/1 RG Gundam RX-78-2 is making a comeback tour! I went to Odaiba back on August to see 1/1 RG Gundam RX-78-2 twice and it was amazing, for the people who haven't seen it, have to see it and now here's your chance. Here are more details of this story from Ngee Khiong:

"According to Sankei on MSN News, the statue will be move to a public-owned land in front of JR Higashi-Shizuoka Station, Aoi-ku, Shizuoka, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan (ＪＲ東静岡駅前の市有地 - 同市葵区長沼). After the relocation, passengers riding on the Tokaido Shinkansen (東海道新幹線) line will be able to see the statue in close distance. The convenience of transporting visitors to the new location where the statue is is one of the reasons the location is chosen in the first place.

The statue will be on display from July 2010 to May 2011. After that period, the statue will be moved to Bandai Hobby Center, 600 meters north of the new display location where it will stay there, until the new reallocation I guess. ^^

From the same report, new commercial facilities will be built to welcome the arrival of the statue, and some venue limited Gunplas are already under planning. As a matter of fact, Bandai Namco Group has been working hard to create Shizuoka as the "Sacred ground of the hobby culture" (ホビー文化の聖地) by promoting the plamo industry and more related events.

Fans who missed the statue when it was first on display this year have a much longer period to see the statue now. ^^ It would be a visit with new meaning as compared to the experience at Shiokaze Park I guess, visiting the statue where Gunpla originates for Gunpla 30th anniversary next year. ^^

Code Geass: Shikkoku no Renya

Well, by now everyone knows that a new manga of Code Geass is coming out: Code Geass: Shikkoku no Renya (The Jet-Black Renya, in English). C.C. is going to be in this"prequel." Just a few days ago I happen to find an image of this new series. C.C., Renya (the protagonist) & unknown character (that looks like Lelouch, but it looks more like Xingke, to me) are in this image, plus some things regarding the manga in Japanese, I would like it if someone would tell me what it says cause I don't read Japanese. Here is the picture:

P.S. I'm sorry that I haven't been posting lately. I have been busy with finals, family, playing Uncharted 2 (online), and playing my sister's Wii. Last Saturday, I bought Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion Vol. 6 (which is the start of R2, the second season of Code Geass), but I left the manga in my brother-in-law's car, so I'll review it once I get it again.

Sad Day

Today is a sad day for the NFL, Cincinnati Bengals Wide Receiver Chris Henry dies from injuries today, not injuries from playing football but injuries from falling off the back of a truck. Its sad because he had a trouble past but he was changing for the good. The Bengals have already gone through this, one of their coaches' wife died suddenly, but this is a little different since it's a player. I can't imagine how the Bengals can play against the Chargers this weekend.

Code Geass: The Jet-Black Renya?

Breaking News (to me at least): the new Code Geass project is going to be called: Code Geass: Shikkoku no Renya (The Jet-Black Renya, in English). So the new Geass project is going to be a manga. "The story takes place in the same official Code Geass history as the anime, but in a different era. The title character, Renya, is a 17-year-old boy with a mechanical left arm and shuriken throwing stars as his weapons of choice. The story begins when Renya encounters a mysterious, perpetually young witch named "Reifū C.C." C.C. has appeared in Japan's historical Edo era to seek a new partner for a covenant. Meanwhile, a mysterious man, with a striking resemblance to the character Lelouch of the original anime, also appears with unknown intentions."* Premise of the story sounds good but I don't like the fact the main character has a "mechanical left arm and shuriken throwing stars as his weapons of choice", I hope it does work. I do like the fact that C.C. is this manga, I want Goro Taniguchi (the director and story co-creator of the original Code Geass) to show us more of C.C. in terms of her past. And what's with the "mysterious man, with a striking resemblance to Lelouch?" In the end, Code Geass: The Jet-Black Renya is a prequel to Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion & R2 or is it...

LeBron James, I Hate You

At first, I didn't like LeBron James, but now I'm starting to hate him. This guy is a sore loser and sore winner. He didn't want to shake hands with the Orlando Magic when they (the Magic) beat LeBron James. His excuse for not shaking hands was that he is a competitor so he shouldn't do that when he loses, only when he wins. And now he is dancing like a fool during games. This shows that he doesn't have class at all. LeBron James says that he is a student of the game and knows his NBA history, but he doesn't, I have never seen a star player ever dance during games. Michael Jordan (6 NBA Titles), Magic Johnson (5 NBA Titles), and Larry Bird (3 NBA Titles), to name a few, never did this. If someone ever try to do this back then, he would have gotten knocked out.Yet, LeBron James (0 NBA Titles) does this, he has no right to do this. What has he done in the NBA? Nothing, that's what. I hope he never wins a NBA Title. I HATE YOU LeBron James, you are becoming the jackass of the NBA.

Gundam Seed Destiny TV Movie 1-4

Last night, I watched Gundam Seed Destiny TV Movie 1-4. Each are about 1 hr & 30 mins. They retell the whole story in 4 OVAs (6 hrs instead of +/- 24 hrs). These are better than watching the whole series itself, adds more details and cuts the boring stuff. TV Movie 4 has the Final Plus in it so that's good. I do like Gundam Seed Destiny (it got me back into Gundam), but I hate Kira, Athrun, Cagalli, and Lacus a lot. Anyways its worth watching the 4 OVAs, its better than the main series. I'll give Gundam Seed Destiny (the main series) a 7/10 (for the reasons I'm going to tell you later) and Gundam Seed Destiny TV Movies 1-4 an 8/10. If you are going to buy any DVD of Gundam Seed Destiny, you should get these TV Movies (they are worth it).

The Reason: I believe Kira is the worst main pilot ever. I really really really hate Kira, Athrun, Cagalli, and Lacus, I really do. They are all so annoying. The only thing I like about Kira for is the Strike Freedom Gundam. The main reason why I hate Kira is that Shinn was the main protagonist (the show started with him as the protagonist and ended with him being the antagonist) but in the end Kira turn out to be the main hero/protagonist. I believe this is the main reason why Gundam died in the U.S.

F.Y.I. in TV Movie 3, it has one of the saddest deaths in the Gundam franchise, I don't want to spoil it for you but its really sad for me. The first time I saw it my throat really tighten, it was really sad. I felt really bad for that person. And it also has when the Kira loses.

P.S. I said "really" a lot, really. Hahaha

Great news for Code Geass fans, Anime News Network is reporting that Bandai is going to do a new project involving Code Geass next year! Sunrise also said something similar to this in the January 2009 issue of Gakken's Animedia magazine, saying the possibility of more plans of Code Geass is good. I really do hope that Bandai & Sunrise do a great job on the upcoming project of Code Geass, plus I want them to tell the world that Lelouch is either alive of dead (I want him to be alive but my head is telling me that he is dead). The Code Geass Mainsite (From Japan) has a message from Code Geass producer Yoshitaka Kawaguchi. According to Kawaguchi, the new project will feature the simultanteous releases of comic series, music, new products under development, and visual works. More details will be revealed in the January issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Newtype magazine, which ships this week (1-2 days away).

Next year, Bandai & Sunrise are going to have a huge year with the ~~possible~~ release of a new Code Geass ~~anime~~ manga, the release of the Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Movie and the worldwide release of Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn.

As a token for saving my friend 400 big ones on a laptop, he got me Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2: Part 2. Its just a single DVD case with 2 DVDs, just like Part 1. It comes with 2 DVDs containing Turns (Episodes) 8-13 & Audio Commentary (in Japanese with English Subs). Also it contains a Key Animation Gallery (Part 1 also has this), me thinks Bandai & Sunrise are replacing the Picture Dramas for Key Animation Gallery because they don't want to pay the American (English) voice actors. Black Friday Shopping

Man, Black Friday for me was great. I got Seasons 1-4 of Entourage for $10 each, a 4 GB flash drive for $10 as well, and I got The Simpsons Season 12 (Limited Edition) for $15 as a gift from a good friend. All from BestBuy, my brother and I went at 7 am (I know we were late to get better stuff), by that time they sold out of Season 5 of Entourage. After we shopped there, we went to Target. We were trying to get the Seasons of House for $9 or $13 (I can't remember which one but I believe it was $9 each) but by the time we got there they were sold out, but I did get Season 1 of The Big Bang Theory for $13 and Halo 3: ODST for $35. So it was a good Black Friday for me but I really wanted the Seasons of House and Season 5 of Entourage. Here are some pics:

The New Jersey Nets are 0-18 for the start of this NBA Season and have the record for the worst start for a NBA season. Now they have to live in shame forever until another team beats their record by losing. The '88-'89 Heat & the '98-'99 Clippers had this record before with 0-17 to start a season. This is one record no one wants to have, I feel sad for them, I really do. Hope they win tonight!

2010 FIFA World Cup

Only 6 more months until the 2010 FIFA World Cup starts. I am so excited and I can't wait for it. I'm a huge fan of soccer, not the MLS just international soccer. I am a little sad that my country of Ecuador isn't in the tournament but its ok since they choked away (a spot for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, needed 2 points to get in) at the end of the qualifying round for the CONMEBOL (South American Football Confederation) Qualification Tournament. I'm mad that France got in the tournament because Ireland should have gotten in instead. I will be rooting for all the countries from the Americas (mostly Brazil & US), Africa, and the country of Japan. I would HATE it if another European country won the World Cup. I don't get why the US didn't get a top seed but Argentina did while they ranked 4th in CONMEBOL.

Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone, Review

A good friend of mine just let me borrow Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone DVD. The movie or OVA last about an hour and a half, it is part 1 of the remake of Neon Genesis Evangelion series (the first 4 episodes, I believe). They greatly improved on the animation from the original but they keep the plot the same which is good, because the original series came out back in 1995. The only thing I hated about this DVD is that it doesn't have the original English cast. Amanda Winn-Lee, who played Rei Ayanami in the original anime, isn't in this OVA. I truly believed that she did an amazing portraying Rei, when I first saw Evangelion (a long, long time ago) in Japanese, I kind of knew how her voice should sound like in English and Amanda Winn-Lee hit the nail perfectly. The new Rei (done by Brina Palencia) is really bad to me and I don't like it. Rei is suppose to sound alone, distant, non-human like & at times cold, and Brina Palencia didn't live up to that, on my opinion. But everyone else sounds almost the same. And everyone but Asuka and Kaji are not in this OVA, I do believe that they will both be in Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance. F.Y.I. at the end of the Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone they do show a preview for Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance.

Go and watch this OVA of the Rebuilding of Evangelion, it is worth watching and if you have 30 bucks laying on the floor, go and buy it. If you don't have the money for it then find a friend who has it so he/she can let you borrow it (like what I did). To me, single DVDs (meaning movies or OVA) are not worth buying when they cost 30+ dollars (expect Blu-Rays), buying a season of a TV Show or Anime is.

Oh My God!!! I didn't know Scrubs (the TV show) was on for a new season. I found out by flipping through the channels. Scrubs is one of my favorite TV shows and I didn't know it was on for a new season (sorry for repeating). I'm always on top of these things. Its on ABC.

Also, today is the season finale of Sons of Anarchy, its a great show about a motorcycle club dealing with "club business" if you catch my drift. This show is not for kids. Trust Me. Oh, its on FX.

Ninja Assassin (Review)

Damn I just watched Ninja Assassin, it's bad ass. It doesn't have a great story but who cares when the action scenes are amazing. It is a must watch. It has blood (a lot of blood), gore, fighting, weapons perfect for an action movie. I'll give the story 2.5/5, the action scenes 5/5, so I'll give the movie as a whole a 4/5. I'm sorry I can't say much of this movie but its a great action movie so watch it.

Too Bad Code Geass

Too bad that Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2: Part 2 is not being released this week (because of Black Friday) but it should be release next week (12/1/09) and Part 3 will be release nex year (maybe 1/4/10 or 1/19/10). Since Part 3 will only have Turns 14-19, Part 4 (this might be the last part, maybe containing Turns 20-25, and maybe this "Box-Set" will have a hard box to hold all the DVDs unlike Part 1-3) is too far into the future to know when it will be release; I'm telling you this because I won't get anything Code Geass related (maybe Vol. 4 of the manga) for Black Friday until next month when Part 2 comes out.

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion Manga

The mangas for Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion follow the story from the anime but with a twist. I'll give you a couple of examples: 1. the birth of Zero happen in Ashford Academy (the manga) not Shinjuku (the anime), 2. Suzaku & Kallen are attending Ashford Academy from Day1 (not like the anime), 3. Elevens (Japanese) and Britannians attend Ashford Academy together (not like the anime), and there are few more changes to the story. Tomorrow I'll start to read Vol. 2 and Vol.3 & 5 next week. I do like the sudden changes to the story and I think its worth reading but the anime is still the best.

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion: Part 2 contains Stages: 10-17, Picture Dramas: 4-6, Audio Commentary (in Japanese with English Subs) for Stages: 11 & 14.

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion: Part 3 contains Stages: 18-25, Picture Dramas: 7-9, Audio Commentary (in Japanese with English Subs) for Stages: 19, 21 & 25.

Each were $29.99. In these "Box-Sets" contain three of the saddest episodes from Season 1 (at least for me). Stage 14 "Geass vs. Geass" Stage 22 "Bloodstained Euphy" & Stage 23 "At Least with Sorrow". I don't want to give anything away but Stage 22 & 23 are really sad. They (Parts 2 & 3) come in a paper box/wrap. Since I have Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion: Part 1 Limited Edition, I'm going to house Parts 2 & 3 in the Box for Part 1.

Well, I got it but not the Limited Edition. It comes with 2 DVDs containing Turns (Episodes) 1-7 & Audio Commentary (in Japanese with English Subs). Its just a single DVD case with 2 DVDs. This is my favorite "Box-Set" just because it contains my favorite episodes. It was $29.99 plus tax. My only complain with this and maybe with Part 2 & 3 is that they (Bandai & Sunrise) didn't dubbed the Picture Dramas or even include them with subtitle in the DVDs. Today after school, I had a Code Geass spending spree. I canceled the order I place on Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2: Part 1 Limited Edition, it was placed in back-order & BestBuy didn't know when they would get it so I canceled it. I went to the Borders (a book store), to buy the Code Geass manga. I got volumes 2, 3 & 5, I have vol. 1 (from Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion: Part 1 Limited Edition) and they didn't have vol. 4. So I went across the street to BestBuy to see if they had any Code Geass or Gundam 00 DVDs, and to my surprise they had Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion: Part 2 & 3, and Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2: Part 1 (none of them were Limited Editions). They were $30 each (great price). So I was happy. I didn't get the Limited Edition of Code Geass R2: Part 1, but I just need to get vol. 4 of the manga to have the same things as the Limited Edition. I'll be reviewing the manga and DVDs later today.

My Katana Sword

About week ago I bought myself a Katana Sword, hand-made of course, for 45 bucks! Its made in Japan (I think). I love it! Its black and sharp. If anyone is planning to get a Katana Sword, it should be hand-made (nothing less than that). It looks so much better hand-made. Here are some pictures and a video:

More than 500 people have visited my Blog! Most (about 70%) of my visitors are from the U.S., here are some of the countries of my visitors: United Kingdom, Mexico, Saudi Arabia (I was shocked), Japan, Malaysia, Canada, El Salvador, Philippines, Hong Kong, Romania, Morocco, Indonesia, Portugal, Norway, Netherlands, Singapore, France, Italy, Poland, Brazil, Bulgaria, India, Thailand, Israel, Vietnam, Germany, Spain, Australia, Lithuania, & APO, Armed Forces Europe (Army/Air Force Post Office (APO) - for U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force postal facilities).

I was shocked that my Blog was viewed world-wide. And I know the web is world-wide but I only expected visitors from the U.S., Canada, Japan, and maybe Spain & Ecuador since most of my extended family live there. But Saudi Arabia, Israel, APO, Lithuania, etc... I never expected that.

The Middle East countries visited the Sora no Otoshimono & Love and Yet Another Triangle (Sora no Otoshimono) pages the most, and thats a little weird to me, Sora no Otoshimono is a perverted show and some countries in the Middle East frown on that.

The most visited page in my Blog is Sweet Ass In Your Face! (Olivia Munn). About 65% of the traffic that comes to my Blog is from that page and most of the traffic (about 75%) from countries outside of the U.S. is thanks to this page. Second place is: Sora no Otoshimono & Love and Yet Another Triangle (Sora no Otoshimono) (about 10% of traffic each)Third place is: Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Movie, New Gundams (about 5% of traffic). The rest of the traffic comes from Google, Myspace, Facebook, Twitter & Gundam Eclipse.

F.Y.I. my most viewed video from my YouTube channel is: Gundam 00 Movie (137 views & I don't own this video) & Gundam 00 S2 25 Rebirth (105 views & I don't own this video). I know I haven't been posting, school has taken a lot of my time and today I started tutoring a Japanese girl in Trigonometry (go figure). I'm only doing this Mondays & Wednesdays. Too much homework I'm getting, I have to do 2 essays a week and they have to be at least 3-4 pages long, single space! I should start posting more this week and next week!
